Yarra Valley’s Pioneer Working Farm 

Located less than an hour away from Melbourne’s CBD in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Gulf Station is one of the oldest and most intact timber farm complexes in Australia. 

The numerous original farm outbuildings you can visit at the site include original homestead kitchen, butcher’s shop, schoolhouse, stables, milking bales, barn and separator room.

Maize Maze | a reader has advised that the maze was cut down in May 2014.

Opening Hours

Open to the General Public on the first Thursday of each month 10am to 2pm.

Group bookings available by appointment. Groups must contact us at least two weeks prior to your planned visit date. Please email [email protected] or call (03) 9656 9889. This venue is run by volunteers so advance notice is required for group visits.

Please note – Gulf Station is closed on days of Total Fire Ban.
